The Royal Oak was originally built as two houses in 1921 then converted in 1924 into the public house that stands here today. Offering a warm, friendly welcome with a good, comfortable atmosphere, we are very much a "locals" pub, but we welcome newcomers. Leased by locals who live in the area, we are keen to provide a pub for local people, therefore we have a large beer garden with a smoking area at the rear and large screen tv's with Sky Sports 3D available!

We serve Sunday Roasts. - Sunday Dinner is from 1.30 pm to 5.00 pm.Every Friday we have live music where a number of cover bands play all types of music including Soul, Funk, Pop, Indie and Blues. We have a midnight license for Fridays and Saturdays. Please have a look at our events page for bands etc.
